ANNUAL DUA HELD EVERY 1ST JANUARY (DUA SHUKR/ DUA AMWAAT)

It always held by hajj Mahmood Ssenjakko at his home in Mityana, district kalama Village. He is 85 years old and saw the light 12 years back and therefore he became a Shi’a and a lover of the Ahlul Bayt (A.S). In his words, he first gave a word of pity and condolence to the Shi’a and the entire muslim community in Uganda for the loss of Dr. Abdul Qaadir Muwaya. This function is always held to thank Allah and to earn the blessing of the Holy prophet (S.A.W.W) at the beginning of the year. This is the second time that the Al-Mustafa delegation participates in this function and this time the representatives were Sh. Yusuf Muniir, Sh. Yusuf Mulumba and Sh. Muhammad Mukasa. The guest of honor was from the office of the supreme mufti of Uganda Sh. Zubair Kayongo. On behalf of AL-Mustafa, Sh. Yusuf Mulumba addressed the gathering and in his speech he thanked Allah for the Sh. Mukasa led the invocations. The chief guest spoke about three things, unity, self-satisfaction and cooperation amongst Muslims as the way forward if Muslims and Islam is to prosper.
